Sinotech Marine’s checklist, specially designed for Gas Carriers, offers over 500 identifiers that provide full insight into the condition of the vessel. Sinotech Marine inspectors are continuously trained on how to assess the condition of machinery in idle state. Usually, there is not enough time to access all the ballast and void spaces during the inspection. Our unique condition assessment procedure enables our surveyor to make the right judgment on the condition of idle machinery and non-accessible areas from the ship records and interview of the crew.
Our reporting is divided into two parts:
- Preliminary Inspection Report
- An interim assessment of the ship condition, mainly prepared in case of early bid offers for secondhand purchase of the ship. It contains the vessel’s particulars, inspection summary, preliminary assessment questionnaires, up-gradation matrix, and a surveyor summary.
- Final Assessment Report
- Consists of the vessel’s grading and projection of the cost of up-gradation for the next 3 years.
